A WinningTeam

Axiom EduTech is now a member of the Acticut International group of companies, together with Acticut, and Pinocchio Data Systems. Together, the three companies form a powerful alliance with the mission of offering their customers successful solutions to needs in vibration measurement, analysis, and control.

The new company group was first presented at IMAC XXIV, International Modal Analysis Conference, in St. Louis, Missouri, in February this year.

MAC Pre Conference Course

During IMAC XXIV in St. Louis (see ”A Winning Team” article) Professor Kjell Ahlin and Anders Brandt from Axiom EduTech held the popular course ”Using MATLAB for Noise & Vibration Analysis” for the fourth year in a row. The course was very popular, as always, resulting in one participant summarizing the course in his own words:

” If I would've known how beneficial this course would be, I would've brought my project team members, so we all could've taken advantage of a deeper understanding of such a powerful software as MATLAB.”

We want to thank all participants for taking an interest in our course and for all the interesting questions brought up . We hope to see you again soon!

Using MATLAB U.S. Tour

In March we organize three one-day crash courses on ” Using MATLAB® Toolboxes for Sound, Vibration, and Structural Dynamics Analysis”, see table for dates. The courses are organized in collaboration with VXI Technologies, Inc., Irvine, CA. In this course, which is similar to the success course run at IMAC conferences the last four years, course participants will get an overview of how powerful MATLAB is for analysis of acoustic and vibration signals. The VibraTools Suite™ toolboxes will be used to show how using MATLAB can be done even smoother, quicker and at a lower cost by providing ready-to-use functions for almost all needs in acoustics, vibration analysis and experiemental structural dynamics.

There is still a chance to sign up for these courses! Check out the course nearest to you, and sign up at www.axiom-edutech.com! Or download a course invitation from here.

New www.vibratools.com site!

A new site with substantially more information about Axiom EduTech’s bleeding-edge toolboxes for noise and vibration analysis in MATLAB is now published at www.vibratools.com. At the site you can download a comprehensive brochure, and technical papers aiding in understanding advanced functions in the toolboxes, and soon existing customers under service agreement will be able to download the latest software version directly from the site. You will also find plentiful examples of scripts from applications of the toolboxes and a support section.

Axiom EduTech’s solution based suite of MATLAB® toolboxes provides you with unlimited analysis capabilities using an open platform environment utilizing the extreme power of MATLAB®.

Instead of a demo version, we have a published part of the toolboxes as freeware. Download it from the site! The freeware contains some very useful MATLAB scripts for universal file (binary and ASCII) import, and for structured data storage, plus commands for spectrum and octave analysis, modal parameter extraction etc.
